16 Republican Presidential candidates believed that, the GOP believed that, Hillary believed that, The DNC believed that, main stream media believed that.... so far it hasn't happened. I'm not saying it won't happen, but it's been a very bad bet to-date.

Trumps going to get two years minimum.

Democrats need to stop crying and get their shit together. When the tables were turned Republicans formed the Tea Party to get shit done, which has worked out well for them, even if the GOP got their last choice in Presidential candidates it was a win for them.

If the economy improves and Jose Sixpack believe's his lot in life is getting better the 2018 mid-terms will be a Democratic bloodbath. The Democrats have numerous vulnerable Senate seats coming up in the next election. Republican's getting a super majority is not out of the question.

Yeah, that's a work in progress for sure. But Trump is really surrounding himself with some major talent, they might make it difficult for him to fail.

In the past Presidents have, for the most part, filled cabinet positions to those who were owed favors. Since Trump owes few favors he is filling his cabinet with talent. The down side is this could be like the sports team filled with talent that never comes together as a team, time will tell.

And their only hope in 2020 is Uncle Joe and that sharecropper, Cory Booker.

Doonesbury from 12-18 predicted today's press conference almost exactly verbatim.
