  • did anyone have pro wrestler George "the animal" Steele on their death list

He died Thursday night of kidney failure. 79 years old, that must be about 240 years in wrestler years. I saw him wrestle live quite a bit along with guys like Bobo Brazil and Pampero Firpo. Back then he wasn't a "good guy" and he could pretty much just give a dirty look in someones' direction and they would get out of the way fast. R.I.P George Steele.

Okay, these Dead Pools are getting a little ridiculous.

These people need to celebrities or somewhat famous.

The drummer for some third rate band in the 70's does not count. Fake wrestlers (sorry JCW) that aren't Andre the Giant or Hulk Hogan don't count.

Have a snickers bar. You seem to be a little tense.

Speaking of dead 3rd tier celebrities. Nicole Bass.....of bodybuilding and Howard Stern fame. Dead at 52. Not sure what could have killed her.

Someone who entertained millions of people is most certainly a celebrity.

                Stop being a fuckstick.

I never really watched much wrestling, but I know who this guy was.

My uncle taught school with him a long time ago. They're both dead now. I blame the school.

I met The Animal at a hotel bar many years ago in Allentown, Pa. He and a bunch of the other wrestlers who stayed at the hotel hung out at the bar after their gig at the fairgrounds. They were cool! Met Lou Albano, Hulk Hogan, a bunch more. George was a quiet guy, and very nice. RIP Animal!

Are there any intelligent people who like wrestling? I've never met one.

I wonder if kidney failure hurts as bad as a kidney stone or urinary tract infection.
