Eating shit is like drinking sea water, it'll only speed up your demise.

Probably, but apparently she was selective about it & only picked out the corn kernels. Either way she survived, so I'm thankful for that.

But it's true, at least based on what her older sisters tell me since my wife was too young to remember. She was so desperate and hungry that she would use a stick and pick through her own shit to eat any possible corn kernels she might find.

It just makes me love her more since I can see how she's a fighter and overcomes adversity.

On the other hand you have EV, who fucks other men besides her husband just because she feels like it & doesn't mind being a slut. All I can say is that I consider myself lucky for marrying someone loyal with the heart of an angel. Actually, that's something me & Gunzen have in common, we both married well.
I'm going to put you down for eagle eggs because instead of reading this long melty post I thought of that scene in almost heros with chris Farley where he got eagle eggs for breakfast when they were starving.

I'd guess she's full of shit rather than shitty corn on that claim.

No one here has been in a desperate enough situation to really know what they would do to survive.

So, I'm curious about this "eating corn shit theory". Technically, if there is a really poor country, rather than sending them thousands of pounds of food every day or two (sup Sudan?), could we just send them corn every once in a while and let them keep recycling it?

You know what Animal? I made the MISTAKE of telling a story about someone that against all odds ended up surviving and did anything in her power to do so. I understand the jokes but if you ever met anyone like that you would appreciate it. I know it should be expected but too much of UJ ends up being 3rd grade children making childish jokes. I think you get my drift, and trust me, I get yours.

i get the seriousness of the drift of the mistake story you told. and i think you know that. I do not condone humor directed toward people in dire situations.

i do, however, think that there might be some scientific nutritional lessons that could be gained from some of these instances.
