Did you watch the video dude? It's way more than 1% that either, will kill you if given the chance, or are cool with one of their asshole relatives kill you.

About 85% support the random killing of westerners according to a poll taken in camelville

I agree with the idea that it is only 1% doing the killing. The problem is the grey area % of folks who would never do the killing themselves, but are sympathetic, or stand by, or don't turn the ones in they suspect of plotting. That % is likely higher than 1%

Like I said, it takes the culture at large to make a change.

America is nowhere gender-equal, but I don't think I'd put us parallel to some of these places. America isn't there yet, but they are many years ahead in the battle for equality.

Why does America HAVE TO be gender equal? WTF? Why are men and women supposed to be the same.
They aren't. Quit saying that they are.
A woman can do just about anything that she wants to in this country. A man can do just about anything he wants to.
Unless that woman wants to be a NFL linebacker.
So quit with the liberal talking point of America isn't gender equal. You are just saying America surpresses women's rights, which it doesn't.

I just know lots of Muslims who are nice people and I don't think like the left does about Christians that they are all idiots and racist.

The thing is, men and women are NOT equal. Women are unique and quite different from men. Without women, most of us men would be lost. Why they want to bring themselves to our level and claim equality is beyond me.

I teach my daughters that they are diverse and strong in different ways than their brothers. Don't try to be equal to any man, be yourself and embrace your own distinctive qualities that your husband (one day) will rely on.

Is ISIS, the Islamic State, trying to penetrate the U.S. with the refugee influx? Are Muslims radicalized on U.S. soil? Are organizations such as CAIR, who purport to represent American Muslims accepting and liberal or radicalized with links to terror organizations?
                          From the Comments Section:
While the Sunni and Shiite Muslims will always have their problems with each other, Islam's problems didn't become the world's until Israel was founded in 1948 in what had always been predominantly Muslim Palestine. THEN the USA became Israel's champion, with Israeli lobbies like AIPAC controlling US foreign policy. Israel's wars then became the USA's wars and Islam's radicals then became the West's problem; and so it will always be until the Israeli albatross is removed from around the neck of the West.

How much closer do we need to be?

Just about any religion went through it's "barbaric" phase, and then the culture at large decided "fuck this....something has to change" and the parts of the religion that seemed outdated were basically ignored and written off.

Modern day Christianity barely resembles what it use to be.

Religion is all BS anyway, it is changed and modified at the drop of a hat for whatever convenience the believer needs at any given time.

The problem with the middle east is that the culture itself is backwards male dominated authoritarian. The Koran is just a convenient book to use as a vehicle to justify their bullshit. You could make the Koran disappear today and I bet the assholes just find another reason to be assholes. What needs to happen is for those societies themselves rise up and say enough of this shit, we will revolt en mass and take out whoever is still trying to peddle this stuff. If that happens you'll see Islam in the middle east magically reform itself quick.
OK, this was from 3 days ago. But it's spot on brilliant in it's analysis.
