Masturbate. It's known to ease the tension. Just saying. JC

It's too bad we no longer have the smiley available. This thread was fucking made for that thing!

We don't cool the air, we remove the heat via the refrigerant circuit.

The 4 prong that WTC describes is an old style disconnect switch.
If the outdoor unit is running, I'll assume he is talking about the fan, compressor may be off on internal overload.
Possible issues could be low refrigerant or a bad capacitor or burned wire.
          Thanks

I'll guess I'll just put up a cot and sleep on the porch like my ancestors did. Last time I did, woke up at 3am nose to nose with a skunk checking me out. Ice cold shower within the hour.

Maybe your AC guy should have given you better instructions on his mystery fuse, where it was and how to replace it since he was so confident.

Since you say that the repair guy had to put refrigerant in it last year, tells me you have a leak. A/C's don't use or lose without one. I would not be surprised if you have a leaking evaporator coil. Not a cheap fix, unfortunately. If you are still using an R-22 system, be prepared to replace the entire system.

Appreciate it. It's a 30 year old system . Something every couple of years. So, about this "van" animal is mentioning? Care to elaborate?

Go visit your bimbo next door & tell her your AC is out & you need a place to stay. I'm sure she will gladly accommodate you.

30 years old tells me it is an R-22 system. Which is now obsolete and extremely expensive.

Animal was toting his minor in thermodynamics, clearly dissing my fleet of vans. The bastard.

I wanna hear about the Original DT work vans? Open the doors, and parts fall out?

Do your vans say "Free Candy" on the sides?

I've got 3 30 pound bottles of R-22 in the garage, what am I bid?

I think I've got some r-12 and the hoses and gauges. What am I bid.
