    A plane hit a deer taking off from Charlotte NC. Earlier this year ( I think).

                The interesting business happens at 1:44, and it looks like the propeller got him before the gear did. A moment before the explosion at the wheels there's a big wad of blood on the porthole.

                  Okaloosa county airport shares runways with Eglin AFB. The areas around terminal are woods and since it's a military base no hunting anywhere close. Deer just love it. I've seen deer near runways / taxiways as we were taxiing. Never thought they'd be an obstacle. Guess I was wrong.

                      Tampa International used to have a problem with coyotes. Don't know if they still do or not.
