It would have been if I didn't contest the charge with Amex and end up not paying it. I was ready to go to court on it, especially with the info from the dealership. The $240 from the dealership wasn't as ridiculous because the stupid coil part goes for about $150.00.

You probably could've bought the coil for $50 and changed it yourself in 15 minutes if you weren't so lazy and stupid. Not to mention the time wasted contesting the AMEX charge.

All I know is that in my many years of dealing with mechanics, when discussing time issues on when they will begin work on your vehicle, you never, ever utter these 3 words in order. You say- "No rush. Whenever". You mean- "Hey, if you have some others that are more important, get to mine tomorrow, next day latest". He hears- "push the vehicle to back of the lot and maybe start working on it at the end of next month".

Actually I bought a cheap set of four on Amazon and changed them out myself. I don't have diagnostic equipment and what ultimately turned out was one of the new coils was bad. The Amex call took about 5 minutes. Talk about stupid, you're the one that smokes. BWAHAHAHHA

Here are the coils I used.

So I take my car (a Honda fit w/100k miles) to the Honda dealership. 2 hours later they call me to tell me it was a bad ignition coil and they replaced it. The car is running fine now. Since I paid the other mechanic with Amex I called them up and cancelled the charge. I got my money back and that was it, no questions asked.

I ended up giving the car to my wife's brother and it's been running fine since, around 120k now. It was the only problem I ever had.
So you took your car to the dealership and they replaced the ignition coil and the car is running fine now? Then you went on Amazon and bought a cheap set of coils and changed them all by yourself? Stupid is as stupid does. Dumbass, hope you never get a flat tire, your wife will have to change it.

Listen you drunk dumb fuck I initially replaced the coils, but it didn't fix the problem, then it turned out one of the replacement coils I purchased was defective. The dealership confirmed that and fixed it since they have the diagnostic equipment.

So I was right all along that the problem was with the coils and I was shipped a defective part which is why ultimately I went to a mechanic to repair it.

Go have another cigarette and buy another carton for your kid you fucking loser. I've restored entire homes and cars in my day and that's in addition to doing white collar work in Information Tech. I doubt you can say that ponytail bitch.

Sincere apologies, I had no idea you've restored entire homes and cars, not to mention your white collar work in IT. You must be very proud, I'm sure that looks good on all 13 of your resumes. Serious question tho, why are you trying to knock WTC off the dumbest poster pinnacle?

I keep telling you fucking people that you can take your car to (most) any part store and have them run a diagnostic for free. Find out what part is bad and either the people there show you how to fix it OR go home and use your computer for something other than UJ or porn and look up how to replace said part.
But noooo no one listens to the good advice Mr Angry gives.
                            Fuck you all....
