Any person who has a gap in coverage will not be subject to a pre-existing condition clause, but will pay a penalty in the form of a surcharge to their premium of 30%.

They're trying to sneak it through without CBO scoring to delay the assfucking, but at some point they're going to have to face reality. Schadenfreudegasm

This is not a plan. It's an attempt at pretending to create a plan.

Just a little downside to rejecting the other party's idea out if hand and saying it's because you have a much better one.

And then being forced to come up with the proof.

They devoted seven pages to preventing lottery winners from being on Medicaid.

Repeals a law that capped healthcare CEO pay deductions at $500,000/yr. lmao...

Well fuck me. They allow the insurance companies to charge you a 30% surcharge on your premiums for 1 year if you lapse coverage for 61 days or more, or dont buy insurance during the enrollment period. Thats even bigger fucking fines than the ACA, AND its paid directly to the Ins. Co.'s! It wasnt the mandate or the fines they had a problem with, it was that they didnt benefit the insurance companies enough!

Looks like the upshot is cutting coverage for poor people and cutting costs for rich people, what a surprise.
