You morphed my lack of sympathy for their disingenuous argument into me "not wanting" them to have it. How many times should I come to the table as a reasonable person when it involves money for the Church Children's Playground only to see them turn around in another argument and expect me to accept the opposite of what they are laying out here before I say, all right...you can fool me once....but.....you ain't gonna fool me agin! This is the same thing we see in politics. You try to come to the table and be reasonable and you get walked all over for it so many times before you just stop pretending to be reasonable from the outset.

      lulz.

A reasonable person wouldn't launch into an anti-Christianity diatribe every single post.

      You are clearly not reasonable.

This is apparently the easiest argument ever yet it had to go to the Supreme Court anyway lulz. We need MTF's(God rest his soul) reminder that the separation of Church and State was as much for the Church as it was for the State. I agree with AH's point that just taking this funding isn't really compelling the Church to adhere to any conditions...I just can see why the argument has ended up in front of the court. You can't have it both ways. The people making it seem like a no brainer are just ignoring the history of the issue.

It's your thing. After Vodo dieded you picked up the torch as the resident God hater...but only the Christian God.

You couldn't even get through a no brainer quote without making it about them when it's really a problem with the state being discriminatory.

Yes, as with your take on this issue always its people being discriminatory against Christians when in reality Christians do the majority of the discriminating against every group they disapprove of. Of course the other shitty religions are no different. If it were majority muslims in this country doing the same shit I'd be railing against them too. But for you its just a bunch of Librul Christian haters. Your senility or old man crabiness has really impeded your ability to make compelling arguments anymore. I, for the millionth time, have nothing against Christians receiving funding to make a playground safer. I just refuse to pretend the logic of this argument exists in a vacuum when in the next argument Christians will be the first to cast this logic aside and argue for their right to discriminate against other groups based on "religious freedom". Christians should receive funding discrimination free but they should also be able to restrict funding for other groups with impunity. Your support of double standards is transparent and obvious and pathetic.

But as long as your church has a secondary education, that shouldn't be a problem, and there's tons of private colleges out there whose standards you can work to meet w/out meeting gov't standards. Stupid government anyway amirite?
Yea, except you are saying that the school should have to take all the regulations that are shoved up their ass (which they do) and still not be qualified to take any money that would be due any other accredited school.

If this were a muzzy school and the right was bitching about the government giving them money for a playground, you and stymie would be defending it. You are a joke.

nope...it would be the same people in support of the christians getting this money that would be arguing how giving muslims the same money is against the constitution. You sad saps are predictable and boring. Like I said its like you think every time one of these issues comes up we forgot about the last time you argued the opposite against a group you disagreed with. Hard to take any of you seriously anymore. You aren't even consistent for 10 minutes the same as your boy Trump.

I'm just stunned that you think that as an atheist my stance on religions getting tax dollars changes with the religion. No. Flat no. No religion should be getting tax money.

I see no reason that they should be singled out as being any different than any other pre-school. However, if I were running the pre-school, I would say ok and then use that as a reason to keep the government from defining all other aspects of running the school such as lunch standards, student-teacher ratio, etc.
I do recall hearing that this preschool/daycare is indeed open to the public. I think it should be eligible for the same level of govt assistance as any other public preschool that is operated by a school district or private business.
