Good. Mueller is a solid guy.

Of course this will mean 3-6 months of "leaks", 90% of which will be untrue, about the progress of the investigation.

Until the findings are finally published, expect weekly pitchfork reporting from the 'unbiased' media.

Next up is Comey testifying, with his detailed contemporaneous notes of Trump's crimes as they happened, Comey has played this beautifully with his memo leak, it was basically a 'ask me this' prompt, and they will. Lucky Trump has those secret tapes, eh?

Of course, partisan hack trump fans will just declare everything is 90% fake news right up until the impeachment, but their numbers will be shrinking.

Agreed. He's an excellent choice with impeccable credentials. In 2004 he and Comey fought together against warrantless wiretaps, and I'm willing to bet he is not happy about Comey's firing.

Is there any chance Trump can resist tweeting his displeasure about this at 3AM 5/18?

I doubt he'll realize how wise it would be to just shut up about it. He'll just reflexively bad mouth everyone and make things even worse for himself.

Why? Comey made an ass of himself. Exact opposites in the way they work.

Reports are saying Sessions was given notice only after the order was signed, 30 minutes before it went to press.

                And now, this...

House majority leader to colleagues in 2016: I think Putin pays Trump

                https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...e8c_story.html

Of course McCarthy and Ryan BOTH denied the conversation ever took place until they were told that there was a recording of it. Then they went with "Uh, it was a joke".

Supposedly 30 minutes before it was issued, they notified the Administration during ongoing FBI Director interviews.

Um yeah, betting Trump is steamed.

Be careful what you ask for...

The DNC may not like what Mueller turns up.

"Special Council" could end up being something like "Constitutional Convention."

You might not like the results from either!

Comey being frog walked out of the court would be ironic.

When they fix the smilies on this site then I'll be glad to not use the lulz but the fact that you keep harping on it does make me happy. I'll use the smiley(when fixed) with an added noleLulz from here on out I'm sure. Lulz.
