  • Ho hum...

That gosh darn good financial news.

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/as-wash...ing-1501423201
U.S. Companies Post Profit Growth Not Seen in Six Years

"Even as activity inside the Beltway bogged down, the markets have been on an almost nonstop rally since the election. The S&P 500 is up 16% since early November and 10% this year."

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hmmm. "profits keep trucking". I kinda like it. I'll have to remember to slip that in there every now and then to mix it up. Although I do still have a soft spot for "humming". lolz.

Yep...Trump could line up school children and execute them on live TV...as long as that economy is "humming along" then cheezy can sleep well at night lulz....I mean who cares if it even has anything to do with anything Trump has actually done....cheezy doesn't ask any questions.

Hyperbolize much? Yeah, Ol' Donny lines em up and murders em. You dislike the positive information provided so you compensate by imagining a murderous equivalency. The information is the information. Are you disputing what has happened financially since the election? You're kinda right though: as long as the the economy keeps humming along (TM) and my 401(k) keeps making money I'll be happy (and so will many others; much to your chagrin).

You seek out any reason to give Trump credit for something...anything...not sure what policies you attribute the "positive information" to but I'm sure you'll search and find something to fill in the blanks for you. As I've said many times...you are very predictable.

I suppose we are yin and yang then as you will reliably pooh pooh any positive news no matter how big or how small.

Best profits in 6 years; meh
Markets humming along (TM) in record territory: meh
              Unemployment at record lows: meh
              Real unemployment down: meh
              Business optimism up: meh

It wont kill you to say that things are doing ok, you know. We all know however that as long as Donny is POTUS there is no good news. AMIRITE!!??

Clinton made the economy hum back in the 90's. The bubble popped in the 2000's and lucky for him a republican took the blame.

Clinton was the beneficiary of the tech boom. He was too busy chasing Monica around the Oval Office to know it even happened.

Really glad you specified the "real" unemployment rate or I would have thought it was just those fake numbers that Obama put out there.
Everyone knows the economy didn't really improve for the past seven years, it only roared back to life on January 20, 2017.

Wonder where Trump's ball washers like Cheezy find the official "real unemployment" statistic?

Its not that hard. There is this fancy new computer program that helps you find things that you are interested in.
Do you disagree with the WSJ's facts? You have information that proves them wrong?

That is the reason I put the "regular" unemployment rate and the "real" unemployment rate on the list; so as to be consistent. Ive addressed this before...there are numerous ways the unemployment rate is calculated. I believe there are like 7 different formulas the govt uses and they are all categorized and named differently (quite boring names, actually. IIRC they are classified as U-1, U-2. U-3 etc.). Feel free to do some research on how our government comes up with its information and further, witch stats the media choose to report.

Well the government just made up those stats until Trump got into office...now they're all real and guess what...Trump comes up aces! **highfive**
