These are the people who wouldn't mind a dictator for life, as long as he was the right color and stuck it to the brown people. 47% of Republicans think Trump won the popular vote. How do you combat lunacy when facts won't penetrate?

It's kind of a new reality, where the vote is endangered by the delusions of voters. You specifically need to be aware of the shitfest we are facing. The "whataboutism" and "how can you really know" that has been the hallmark of substantially void trolling and science skepticism on this board for years is in fact the way autocratic Russian politics was won. The possibility that Truth is no longer a part of the political discourse is real.

Once upon a time I could see an ideologue get elected and not worry because the grown ups were always in the majority. But you look at what the fake news consumers are sending to office: clueless, anti-government boobs with no interest in politics or compromise or deal making, they have the opportunity to "drain the swamp" as they keep saying and actually destroy America's government all to the pleasure of not only the billionaires that will become the real power in America but the fools that sucked up all that fake news about how great it's gonna be.

And in case you thought they'd have to face reality and would gladly start a revolution in the other direction, right now there's a chorus of dunces saying "Hillary would've been worse" as Trump stumbles and blurts his way to a nuclear war.

Keep your pissing match. Push poll percentages, false equivalencies. No thanks. People are stoopid. And poorly educated. Look in the mirror for that.

upChuck is one of those voters who needs to be told what to think. It's like imprinting. The first commentator he heard was a contard. After that , all reason bypasses his receptors and only the imprinted contardation is received.

                    Another wasted mind.

Trump voters have lower education levels.

Never mind enforcement is squishy at best. Let alone the unexplainable pushback against checking id's.

Did you actually read anything? More have been arrested under Trump, but they sit in private prisons awaiting the backlog to be tried. The rich take more of our tax money housing them in private prisons, but actual deportations are down. Keep slurping cuckcake.
