That's nice. China already HAS nuclear shit. Nuclear shit that goes on missiles that could be used to retaliate if we annoy them enough.

Just send someone that still has an embassy in that shithole with a message to their President, saying "try that again and we might return the scraps to you after a little target practice."

P.S. "And if that doesn't stop it, we know where you have them and where you build them, and we have amazingly accurate missiles too."

Ah, I misunderstood. Though I'm guessing they've got a lot of shit buried in their mountains, just like their artillery aimed at Seoul.

I think they are probably rational actors, in which case the threat of war with an enemy they can't hope to beat that will respond with devastating force to any attack on SK would result in capitulation, with no nukes launched by anyone. It just relies on them believing the threat, which is a problem with a clown president. If they are not rational actors then we really need to attack with resolve as soon as possible because the potential consequences of their insanity will only get worse over time. The basic point of a nuclear deterrent is that no sane person would ever use it, once both sides have it. If you can't trust the other side being sane, then the equation is very different and currently their nuclear deterrent is weak enough to act, provided you place the safety of the homeland above the safety of allies. Which I'd call pretty rational. I really enjoy holidays in Japan, and though I've never been I'm sure SK is lovely. But if NK is rational my actions would do them no harm, and if NK is not rational then the harm they'd suffer is better than that harm being visited on the US homeland. We could send them some blankets and tinned food afterwards and invest in reconstruction.

I think the logical course of action is a declaration of war with NK, with a stated date of a month of so in advance when hostilities will begin if they have not surrendered. If they are rational, no problem. If they are not, the problem is there already and it's past time to deal with it.

Basically my argument is that they are either rational or irrational. If they are rational then resolute threat of action, extending perhaps as far as conventional strikes, results in victory because the rational course of action is for them to back down. If they are irrational then it's better to face that right now because the deaths other than their own will mostly be foreigners. Harsh but rational, war is self preservation and self preservation is selfish.

In the past, if you live in a backwards totalitarian shithole, a good strategy for redevelopment is to go to war with the U.S.

I can see these fucks prematurely launching an unfinished ICBM with a nuke and losing control over it and it crashing into... well anything not the ocean. Kim Jong is God to these people. Too dangerous, God I wish Trump wasn't President right now.

I think that sort of report should be triple checked and double checked again, apparently Iraq had chemical and bio weapons that could be launched within 45 minutes in 2003 which turned out to be horseshit. That lead to a nightmare war or hundreds of thousands dead and the rise of countless terrorists.

I am fucking sure that n Korea are developing and likely have rudimentary nuclear weapons, but clear heads and data are paramount in these cases before any decisions are made. If they do have them and are making noises to attack the US then fuck them up conventionally for sure, but nukes have always to be a last resort.

The two things this administration either has a deficit in, or ignores.
