I have been jamming on The Heavy most of the night. The cool Kia commercial last night in the Super Bowl caught me, so I went to Nebraska to hunt them down. Its definitely British indie rock, but very well done...crunchy guitar, heavy bass, bluesy soul rock, and a singer that actually makes me want to hear more. At times it has notes of a Rob Zombie sound. It reminds me of something you would hear in a Quentin Tarantino movie. I'm digging it.
