Surprisingly, there are some places in the world where that's legal and/or not enforced.

I figured but then my next question is can't their traffic be tracked?

I probably overestimate the actual power of the powers that be.

We'll have to call in Team America for this one.

It's kinda hard to arrest someone who isn't breaking the law in their own country.

Come on dummy. Websites aren't only viewed by the people in the country they are hosted in.

    'he' meaning......

and which person is charged with looking at kiddy porn and limiting access? does that person have to subscribe to see whats on each site? and upon seeing it do they enter it into the cant go there database? i am guessing with 5,000 porn sites a day being started, they will need a porn wing of government whos whole job consists of surfing for child porn.

That's what I was trying to say when asked about their traffic being tracked.

I've just always had the image of g-men repelling through people's windows the moment they type CP into their google search

Basically I just thought that scene was more underground and that there wouldn't be websites that the Australian government would know about to block.

Clearly the australian governement hired a bunch of "kiddie porn experts" (the whole island was criminals, sayin') to find the sites to block. Aussie tax dollars at work.

great point! if these guys know about the sites, why not just arrest the dudes paying for them now instead of going through all this crap?

They think by controlling everyones internet usage noone will go to those sites anymore and there will be no need to prosecute anyone.
