my boyfriend and i were on the train this morning heading to work. about two stops after we got on two nasty lookin' dudes stepped on and straight away started being loud 'y0 IT SMELLS LIKE WEED ON HERE. Y0 IT SMELLS LIKE FOOD. I DUNNO WHAT THE FUCK IT SMELLS LIKE, BUT IT FUCKIN' SMELLS LIKE SOMETHING!'

'I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TOLD THIS BITCH WE'D HELP HER MOVE'...'I'M GONNA HELP HER MOVE THEN IM GONNA FUCK THAT DUMB BITCH'.. just as loud as possible. eventually i couldn't take it and asked them if they could stop being so offensive or at least, ya know, not yell. he said something about us being in public. i said then maybe he should act like he is in public. we went back and forth but he was one of those losers who eventually reverts to saying 'YEAH UH HUH OKAY' when he is in the wrong.

my legs were shaking after the exchange and then my boyfriend and i went one car over.

ugh ugh ugh. that would drive me nuts. i saw a guy do this outside with his chipotle napkins in front of barnes and noble (lots of bench seating/people eating lunch). i got up and picked them all up and gave them back to him as if he had dropped them by accident.

and two weeks ago i went to the petsmart on elston and there was a dying hamster on display and the cat enclosure smelled like days old litter. i let someone there know and they removed the hamster and said they'd have someone clean the cages/litter. i left, but that didn't seem like enough. i called corporate and 3 days later i had a missed call from the petsmart... i found it pretty unprofessional to not even leave a message. i called back and the jerk manager just said it was being 'looked into'. i asked to speak to his superior and was told he wouldn't be in for a few hours. f that. i 311'ed their butts they were served a surprise visit from a city animal rescue officer. the superior called me eventually and was very nice and was more reassuring about the whole thing. i didn't mention the visit, though. i didn't want them to have time to tidy up.
