I was thinking he'd retire this year, but it may be coming sooner than planned!

Well, his ACL died, as did Derrick Rose's and Iman Shumpert's.

Robertson has a below 1 ERA and ridiculous strikeout numbers. The successor (though obviously not the best closer ever i.e. Rivera) is already in place.

P.S. They better sign him to a longterm deal and soon

How is it possible to dislike Mariano Rivera?

The latest is they'll hand the job to Soriano, who was a closer and doesn't much like the setup roll.

Gives Robertson time to develop and then if Soriano blows, they have an alternative.
